Props to My Son!

Who graduated from High School on Thursday - Class of 2014. Those of you who have been following this blog since the beginning - will recall that he was about 12 years old at the time!

This is not the best graduation picture, but it captures his playful side.

Graduation was extremely sentimental - since his is the first graduation class at the charter school he attended. As each child's name was announced, teachers did a "standing ovation" - reading about each child, their personalities, activities, etc. Of course, his mentioned juggling....

Now, onto the logistics of getting him out to Utah in August. I spent 4 hours yesterday comparing/booking flights...and just think how many times I will be doing that over the next 4 years!

Congratulations to those of you who also have graduating children. The local Hibachi grill put on quite a celebratory lunch for him - complete with gongs and singing, hat made out of a bag - and ice cream with a candle in it. It is an excellent option if you haven't made plans yet...

 Enjoy the weekend!

Congrats to your son...and how awesome that they read out a few things about each student. That's much better than people just moving across the stage and getting a diploma. That even makes it more entertaining for the audience than just hearing names.

Awwwwww congrats, Carma! He's so handsome!! I love that the teachers said a few words about each student--makes it feel a lot more personal.

And how are YOU holding up??

XOXO

Congrats to your son Carma!

How exciting--I should invest in your frequent flyer miles now so I can enjoy the monetary returns in a few years.
